About the Role

As a Cycle Counter, you will be a crucial part of our inventory team, ensuring accurate stock levels of components and finished goods within our assembly operations.  Your attention to detail and ability to work systematically will support efficient production processes and maintain a high standard of accuracy across our inventory records.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory, ensuring accuracy in physical stock levels versus system records and updating MRP system.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock counts, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production and purchasing teams to ensure inventory levels meet production requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory adjustments and provide reports to management.
• Assist in implementing and refining inventory control processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while handling inventory.

Key Skills

• Previous experience in a cycle counting or inventory control role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in assembly operations.
• Proficient in inventory management systems and ERP software; strong Excel skills.
• Exceptional accuracy and the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies methodically and propose practical solutions.
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods.
• You will be a person who takes the safety of yourself and others as your number one
• You can work independently or as part of a team in a fast- paced manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working to strict deadlines and targets.
• Basic computer skills for recording and reporting data.
