A word from Rother District Council…
“Camber Sands is one of the largest sandy beaches in the South-East of England and home to the only sand dune system in East Sussex. Renowned for its expansive sandy landscape, the beach can attract up to 25,000 people on nice weather days from across the South East and further afield. In a continued effort to support the safety of beachgoers, Rother District Council have hired variable messaging signs in recent years. Located at popular beach access points, these signs impart important safety information to visitors as they walk onto the beach, including tide times and RNLI Lifeguard service information. Other messages, such as advice to not use inflatables during offshore winds, can be updated by staff in real-time in accordance with the ever-changing environment.”
