With over 20 years of expertise in business, operations, and manufacturing, Chris has held a variety of senior leadership positions, most recently serving as Director of Operations at CRH, a global leader in cable ducting systems for infrastructure networks. His career is marked by the successful creation of high-performing teams and the implementation of strategic solutions that drive organisational success.
Chris is passionate about operational excellence and customer satisfaction and is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous improvement. His core strengths include supply chain management, financial and change management, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. Chris is also known for his calm and composed approach, ensuring clear and effective leadership.
As Manufacturing Director, Chris will be responsible for optimising SRL’s busy manufacturing centre and overseeing our growing product portfolio, including the groundbreaking additions of SolarLight™, UltraLight™, and REMOS™. He will also play a pivotal role in establishing our new remanufacturing facility in Winsford, helping SRL expand its capabilities and commitment to sustainability.
Chris steps into the role previously held by Peter Almond, who has transitioned to a new position as SRL’s Key Accounts Director. Peter’s extensive customer relationships and deep product knowledge will now be focused on driving growth in this strategic role. We’d also like to express our gratitude to John McNeil for his exceptional leadership of the manufacturing team during the interim period.
