SRL have a range of security locks for our portable traffic signals that are designed to protect your equipment and assets, minimising the risk of potential battery theft or vandalism.
Why do SRL Supply Security Locks?
Battery theft is an ongoing problem within our industry and one that SRL strive to tackle on a day-to-day basis. We have established various locking solutions in order to combat this problem. Each system is supplied with a standard T-bar lock with unique keys available on request. Further solutions are a combination lock that wraps around the T-bar lock providing further security and peace of mind. More robust and heavy-duty solutions are available in the form of a steel box lock. Please get in touch to understand which solution fits your situation the best.
Types of Lock
We have a selection of security locks, all with their own benefits, designed to provide you with a more robust security option. As standard, our signal boxes come with T-Bar locks, however, you can enhance your security with the additional options we have.
What lock is right for you?
Yellow Box Locks
Designed to fit on controller boxes for traffic and pedestrian signals, yellow box locks feature a combination padlock.
Claw Locks
Mainly supplied with posts with pedestrian heads but they can fit over T-Bar locks on posts with traffic heads for extra security, Claw Locks are provided with a unique key.
Wrap Locks
Supplied to fit around T-Bar locks on traffic posts for extra security, secondary wrap around locks feature a combination padlock.
Bullet Locks
Only available on specific SRL products that feature SRL Solar PLUS®, bullet locks are integrated into solar lids that are fit onto portable traffic signals or portable pedestrian signals. This provides extra security of batteries and solar units.
Steel Box Locks
More robust and heavy-duty solutions are available in the form of a steel box lock. Please speak to us to understand which solution fits you best.
