Key Features

SolarLight™ drastically reduces the need for frequent battery replacements thanks to its dual-aspect solar panel design. In turn, this reduces the carbon footprint of your project as the emissions associated with battery exchanges (such as vehicle travel to and from depots) is vastly reduced.

As maintenance is low, SRL recommend that panels are cleaned when conducting site visits, removing leaves and dirt, when possible to improve the efficiency of the solar panels.

As SolarLight™ reduces battery exchanges and maintenance dramatically, workers are able to spend less time working in live lanes swapping out batteries or doing checks, so they are less exposed to roadside hazards improving worker safety and wellbeing. This can be even more beneficial on busy or high-speed roads where typical operatives would be working next to lanes where vehicles are travelling at excessive speeds.

Suitable for long-term projects, the durable design of SolarLight™ ensures consistent performance and can be easily deployed regardless of the environment. Use SolarLight™ for urban roadworks to provide the look and feel of permanent traffic signals or in remote areas to reduce your operational costs, where travel times and battery exchanges can be costly and inefficient. Utilise up to 6 max time sets which allows you to set red/green times to change based on a timetable set by the user.

Once fully deployed, SolarLight™ signals replicates the appearance of permanent signals for a more commanding semi-permanent appearance.
