Maintenance and Repair

SRL provides its hire customers with free, comprehensive in-depot asset servicing and maintenance to ensure that their kit is always in optimal condition in line with legal requirements and operational standards. These visits are available on either a six-weekly or six-monthly basis depending on the nature of the contract and if emergency roadside repair is required at any point in between. Our support team stationed at the country’s largest distribution network of 30 depots will be there to provide frontline support within just two hours.  As both a manufacturer and a supplier, unlike many of our competitors we have ready access to our entire range of products and parts, minimising disruption.

Our highly skilled and specialist engineers are fully trained and arrive for all jobs reliably equipped with tools and all necessary replacement parts, enabling them to inspect and maintain or repair customers’ intelligent transport system (ITS) solutions swiftly and with minimum downtime. Customers trust SRL to keep their systems in 100% optimal condition, allowing their projects to proceed with maximum safety and efficiency. We do not disappoint.

SRL’s hire fleet of sustainable solar/hybrid temporary and portable signals, VMS, safety barriers, CCTV, ANPR and remotely operated stop/go signs are continually updated with the latest technology.  As soon as software upgrades become available, our hire customers reap the performance and operational reliability benefits. The fleet is maintained at our refurbishment service centre where it is kept in tip-top condition: every product SRL supplies for hire is serviced, checked, configured and tested before delivery. We also have a dedicated centre where trailers are refurbished and MOT-serviced, ready for use.  Our hire customers have full confidence that when they order from us, kit will arrive in full working order and perform to the highest standard.
